Car accident in Arizona injures 4

A crash in Arizona is currently under investigation. The car accident, which occurred in the Peoria area, is said to have resulted in four individuals suffering serious injuries. Police have not indicated which driver is believed responsible for this incident.

It was recently reported that a collision between a pickup truck and a smaller car occurred when one of the vehicles failed to yield while making a left-hand turn. Two people were transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Another two people are said to have suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck and were also taken to a medical facility. According to a video that accompanied the report, the individuals injured are believed to be teenagers.

This incident resulted in the road being closed for some time while clean up crews, rescue teams and investigators worked the scene. At this time, it is unknown if any criminal charges are pending against either of the drivers involved in this incident. Authorities do not believe impaired driving was a factor in this case.

A car accident that results in significant injuries, such as this one, can leave the victims and their families suffering in a variety of ways. While it is still unclear as to which vehicle the the injured were in, they may be entitled to compensation for any damages sustained. Personal injury claims may be brought against the driver believed responsible for this wreck and/or the vehicle's owner -- if different. Monetary relief may be awarded if negligence is established successfully before an Arizona civil court.
