Arizona driver arrested following fatal car crash investigation
There are a lot of terrible things that happen in this life. For parents, the death of a child is likely to be the worst thing that could possibly occur. Sadly, far too many parents in Arizona and in other states have had to try to cope with such a loss. While no loss of life is easy to deal with, if another person is believed responsible for the death, and that person seems uncaring, this can hurt loved ones even more. The driver deemed responsible for a fatal car crash that occurred last year was arrested recently, and her reaction to the incident is one that showed no remorse.
A little over a year ago, a 5-year-old boy was killed when the vehicle he was in was, according to reports, struck head-on by another car. The driver of that car, a now 24-year-old woman, allegedly hit another automobile before striking the vehicle in which the victim was a passenger in the backseat. Another child, situated in the backseat was injured in the wreck, though the extent of the injuries suffered is unknown.
Criminal charges were officially filed in this case in Jan. 2015. The woman believed responsible for this terrible tragedy, who is believed to have been impaired at the time of the crash, will face manslaughter, several counts of endangerment and aggravated assault charges. Based on remarks she reportedly made upon her arrest, this individual seemed to care little about her current situation, the victims or their family members. At this time, it has not been reported when this case will be heard in court.
A fatal car crash, such as this one, can be horribly difficult for surviving family members to overcome. Those in Arizona who have experienced such a tragedy can seek compensation for the many losses which are often created as a result. Wrongful death claims, if handled appropriately, can grant a victim's family financial relief and allow them focus on and take the time needed to grieve the loss of their loved one.
