A multi-vehicle wreck in Arizona has claimed the lives of three people. The car accident, which occurred just a few days into the month of April, happened midday, a few hours north of Tucson on the U.S. 93. The road was closed for over three hours to allow authorities and cleanup crews to work the scene.
According to recent reports, the accident was supposedly caused by the driver of a pickup truck that crossed into oncoming traffic. A semi driver apparently attempted to avoid the truck, but the pickup struck the big rig before colliding head-on with a smaller passenger car. Two occupants of the car were killed in the crash, as was the driver deemed responsible for the wreck.
Few other details have been released regarding this incident. Local authorities have not yet indicated what factors may have contributed to the collision. The names of all involved have not been reported.
This car accident was certainly a terrible tragedy, one that has likely left the victims' loved ones with an immense sense of loss and grief. Along with the emotional struggles that accompany an incident such as this, the financial burden often encountered in the aftermath by surviving family members can be a lot to handle. Legal remedies to seek economic relief may be available. Even though the driver believed responsible for this collision was killed in the crash, legal actions can be filed against his or her estate in an effort to recoup any monetary losses. Wrongful death and any other appropriate legal claims, filed in an Arizona civil court, may result in compensation -- if litigated successfully.
