Arizona man arrested following fatal car crash

A young man in Arizona has been arrested and charged for his involvement in an accident that claimed the life of one individual and caused others to suffer injuries. This car crash is said to have happened near the end of November in Chandler. Authorities say that the accused was driving on a suspended or revoked license.

On the afternoon of Nov. 29, a 26-year-old male was driving his pickup truck when he allegedly ran a red light and struck a smaller vehicle. The driver of the car, a 16-year-old, and a female passenger were both injured in the wreck. Both victims were transported to a nearby medical facility. Sadly, the passenger succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A third vehicle was also damaged as a result of the incident, and both occupants reportedly sustained unspecified injuries.

The driver thought responsible for this car crash does have a previous criminal record of driving under the influence. It is unknown if impairment played a role in this particular crash. He is facing a number of criminal charges, though, including several counts of endangerment and one count of manslaughter. All of the charges filed against him are felonies.

The victims of this car crash, and the surviving family members of the deceased, may be entitled to seek compensation for the many losses they have likely encountered due to this incident. Personal injury and wrongful death claims may be filed against the individual believed responsible for this crash in an Arizona civil court. If handled successfully, monetary judgments may be awarded which could certainly help those negatively affected by this tragic event as they work to move forward.
