Police in Arizona are currently investigating a recent car accident that proved fatal for two teenagers. The car crash reportedly occurred in the Glendale area on Friday, October 14. A third individual is said to have suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck.
According to a recent report, this incident occurred at the intersection of Camelback Road and 59th Avenue. The driver of a truck allegedly struck a vehicle occupied by the victims. Emergency crews had to free a total of four people from the impacted car, though only three individuals required transportation for medical treatment. Sadly, upon arrival at an area hospital, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were pronounced dead. The third victim was still listed in serious condition as of the latest report.
Authorities are investigating whether impairment was a factor in the car crash. The accident scene was closed overnight to allow the investigation to proceed and for clean up crews to work the area. At this time, no charges have been filed against the individual deemed responsible for the wreck.
