Teenager killed in Arizona car crash

Numerous teenagers across the state have been out celebrating their high school graduations. Due to a fatal car crash, however, the joy and excitement of this momentous event was quickly ended for a few of these teens. This incident is still under investigation by law enforcement officials in Arizona.

In a city northwest of Tucson, a teenager who was visiting from out-of-state, recently lost her life in a car accident. This incident occurred just hours after her cousin's high school graduation ceremony. For reasons unknown, the car in which the victim was a passenger and a pickup truck collided. It was not reported if the drivers, a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old male, suffered any injuries in the crash.

The intersection in which this incident took place was closed for about six hours following the crash. Police have yet to report an official cause of the collision. It is unknown if any charges are pending against either driver.

The loss of life experienced in this car crash is something that family members will likely struggle with for a long time. A wrongful death claim may be utilized in an effort to seek compensation for the damages sustained as a result of this crash. Claims may be filed in an Arizona civil court against the driver deemed responsible and/or the owner of his or her vehicle. While pursing legal claims can be emotionally challenging, if successfully handled, the resulting compensation can help the victim's family recover any monetary losses experienced due to this tragic event.
